The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained throughout our facility. Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including assigning tasks, scheduling staff, and monitoring performance to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and adherence to established standards.
- Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Guest Satisfaction: Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously, striving to exceed guest expectations and ensure a positive experience.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times. Identify and address any potential hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to coordinate guest services and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on housekeeping performance, including occupancy rates, productivity metrics, and guest feedback. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
