Job Description: We are currently seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Houseman/Housepersons. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our housekeeping operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our clients’ premises and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Cleaning: Assist housekeeping staff in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the establishment, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Linen and Supplies: Collect dirty linens and towels from guest rooms and deliver them to the laundry facility. Restock cleaning supplies and amenities as needed.
- Trash Removal: Empty trash receptacles in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, ensuring proper disposal and sanitation protocols.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas, paying attention to detail and ensuring floors are free of debris and stains.
- Furniture Arrangement: Assist in arranging furniture and amenities in guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and guest preferences.
- Special Projects: Support special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning initiatives as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or supervisor.
- Maintenance Support: Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel promptly to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain high-quality standards of cleanliness and service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and courteous demeanor.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
